Five Years Travelling, Building a Craft

In 2015, Rob left the UK and spent five years travelling the world, building his photography skills while capturing landscapes, people and places along the way. That time on the road sharpened his eye for light, space and storytelling, skills that now sit at the heart of every property shoot.

Rob arrived in Australia just before the COVID lockdowns and later spent several years working in the building and carpentry industry, gaining hands-on experience in construction and property. After sustaining injuries in an accident, Rob made the decision to step away from carpentry and return fully to photography, turning a long-standing passion into a profession. That pivot led to the creation of Studio Rob, a property media business built on craft, reliability and an obsessive attention to detail.
